CPR in Schools

CPR in Schools nationally supported by Ross Dress for Less

Cardiac Arrest is a leading cause of death in the U.S., but when ordinary people, not just doctors and EMS, know CPR, a victim’s survival rate can double, or even triple. Schools are adding thousands of lifesavers to our communities by training their students, faculty and staff in CPR. In fact, laws in more than ten states require CPR training for high school graduation, and more states are joining the movement. Hover over the map below to see where your state stands.

Creating the next generation of lifesavers
The easy-to-use CPR in Schools Training Kit is designed just for schools.  It contains everything needed to train 10 students at once in CPR.  Repeat the process to train a class, a grade - or even an entire school! The CPR in Schools Training Kit is portable, allowing for convenient movement from classroom to classroom and easy storage. One CPR in Schools Training Kit can train hundreds of students!

How it works
Developed by the American Heart Association - the leader in CPR programs, this kit incorporates the very latest science.  Any adult or student leader can facilitate the 30-minute CPR session. Students practice on a manikin while watching skills performed correctly on the DVD, a research-proven way to learn and retain lifesaving CPR skills.
