Members of our Affiliate’s Public Advocacy Team are located in the capitol cities throughout our Affiliate. The Public Advocacy team is responsible for sharing our views and positions on cardiovascular disease, public health and stroke with legislators, state agencies, staff and the public. We cover a variety of priority issues, including: disease prevention, public access to defibrillation, research funding, and tobacco prevention.
