HOW TO REGISTER - Register a Jump Rope For Heart or Hoops For Heart Web Page and YOU will raise more life-saving donations! Here's how to get started…
Step 1: Log in to your Head Quarters web page by visiting www.heart.org/jump or www.heart.org/hoops and click on the words that say ‘Register Now!’
Step 2: In the Search For a Team form, enter your school name and/or city, state and/or ZIP code and click Submit to find your school’s event. 
Step 3: When you find your team, click the Join Team hyperlink.
Step 4: Create your own Username and Password and answer a security question. Click Continue. **Be sure your Username and Password are easy to remember.
Step 5: Fill out the registration form. On the bottom of the form there is an Online Waiver. Review the waiver with your parents to click the box to accept it. Once you are done, click the Continue button.
Step 6: A Share With Your Friends screen will pop up. Enter a message that you would like to share via social media and click on the program/s that you would like to use. Once you are done, click the Publish button.  You’ll see a confirmation screen and a button you can click to enter your Head Quarters and set up your web page.  Or, click the “X” in the upper right hand corner of the pop up box to skip this step.

SET UP YOUR PERSONAL FUNDRAISING WEB PAGE -
Updating your web page with a personalized message and photo or video is easy and shows how YOU are a HEART HERO! Here’s how…
Step 1: Log in to your Head Quarters web page by visiting www.heart.org/jump or www.heart.org/hoops and click on the words that say ‘Enter your personal fundraising Head Quarters!’
Step 2: Click on the Tell Your Story button in the Steps to Success section of your My HQ page.
Step 3: Change your site header or subheader if you want, and add a video or a photo to your site. Select Image for a photo or Video from the drop-down list. You can keep the default photo, select a photo from our library, or upload a photo or video from your computer. Choose one that shows why you are participating!
Step 4: Click below Caption under image to change the words that appear under your picture or video.  You can also change the wording that donors will see when they look at your webpage by clicking in the Edit the text box and adding the reasons that you do Jump Rope For Heart or Hoops For Heart.
Step 5: You can click the Preview button to see how your webpage looks. When you are ready, click the Submit button to save your changes and update your webpage.

HOW TO SEND EMAIL - YOU can raise more life-saving donations by emailing your friends and family! Here’s how to send Emails…
Step 1: Log in to your Head Quarters web page by visiting www.heart.org/jump or www.heart.org/hoops and click on the words that say ‘Enter your personal fundraising Head Quarters!’
Step 2: Click on the Send More Emails button in the Email Activity section of your My HQ page.
Step 3: Type in your friend or family member’s name in the Greeting text box and their e-mail address in Recipient Email text box. You may add up to 100 recipients at a time.
              Note: You may import your email contact address book by clicking on Address Book link.
Step 4: Choose an email template by clicking the drop down arrow next to the word Template.
Step 5: Customize your email template by telling your story.  
              Note: You may save a draft of your customized email message by clicking the ‘Save As’ link next to the Template drop down arrow.
Step 6: Click the Send Email button to send your email message to your family and friends.

HOW TO IMPORT YOUR EMAIL CONTACT LIST - Importing your Email contact list is easy!  Here’s how…
Step 1: Log in to your Head Quarters web page by visiting www.heart.org/jump or www.heart.org/hoops and click on the words that say ‘Enter your personal fundraising Head Quarters!’
Step 2: In your My HQ page, click the Add Your Contacts button under Steps to Success.
Step 3: Click on the button next to your Email provider in the ‘Where do you keep your contacts’ window.  If you need help importing your contact list from a spreadsheet, please click on “Import Wizard Help” for further assistance.
Step 4:  Enter the Username and Password for the Email account you are importing (this allows access to your contact list). Click Enter.
Step 5:  Check the box next to the contacts you want to import and click ‘Add’.  A message that says, ‘Your address book is updated’ should pop up.
Step 6:  Your contacts are now available in your ‘Address Book’.  Now you can use your contacts to send e-mails.

PRINT YOUR DONATION REPORT - When it’s time to turn in your collection envelope to your teacher, please print out your Donation Report to get credit for ONLINE donations you received.  Here’s how…
Step 1: Log in to your Head Quarters web page by visiting www.heart.org/jump or www.heart.org/hoops and click on the words that say ‘Enter your personal fundraising Head Quarters!’
Step 2: In your Head Quarters, scroll down to Personal Fundraising Progress and click the View My Reports button.
Step 3: Click the link that says Printable above the list of donor names and amounts.
Step 4: Click on the Printer Icon in the upper right corner of your webpage OR go to File > Print in your webpage menu.

HOW TO MAKE A PERSONAL DONATION - A great way to kick off your fundraising efforts is to make a Personal Donation. Here’s how…
Step 1: Log in to your Head Quarters web page by visiting www.heart.org/jump or www.heart.org/hoops and click on the words that say ‘Enter your personal fundraising Head Quarters!’ Enter your Username and password in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
Step 2:  Scroll down and click on the Make a personal donation button under Personal Fundraising Progress.
Step 3:  A Make a Donation pop up box will appear. Choose a giving level amount and click the Donate button. 
Step 4: Complete the Donation Form and click the Submit button.
Step 5: The Dedication box will appear. Customize the recognition that you would like to receive on Honor Roll scroll bar on the participant’s webpage and click Continue.
Step 6: A Share With Your Friends screen will pop up. Enter a message that you would like to share via social media and click on the program/s that you would like to use.  Once you are done, click the Publish button or cick the “X” in the upper right hand corner of the pop up box to skip this step.
             Note:  A donation confirmation will appear on your screen. You may print out this page to create a donation receipt for your records. You will also receive a donation confirmation via email.
