The New 2013 STEMI Guidelines are Now Available
Released on December 17th 2012, the latest guidelines, “2013 ACCF/AHA guideline for the management of ST-elevation myocardial infarction: a report of the American College of Cardiology Foundation/American Heart Association Task Force on Practice Guidelines,” are available for download at http://circ.ahajournals.org.
Mission: Lifeline Workshop at QCOR 2013
Mission: Lifeline is will be hosting a workshop at the 2013 Quality of Care & Outcomes Research (QCOR) Sessions in Baltimore, MD. “Mission: Lifeline® - Improving Clinical Outcomes in STEMI and Cardiac Resuscitation Care: A Systematic Approach to Implementation of Evidence Based Care Across the Continuum” will be presented on Wednesday, May 15th from 1:00 – 5:00pm EDT. A group of top Mission: Lifeline volunteers and experts will be presenting topics such as:
- An update on the 2013 STEMI Guidelines.
- Systems of Care implementation and quality improvement.
- Case studies of System Improvement
- A panel discussion with Mission: Lifeline volunteers and experts
Each month, Mission: Lifeline along with other American Heart Association Quality Improvement programs such as Get With The Guidelines® and The Guideline AdvantageTM produces an eNewsletter with the latest news and happenings across the programs. Each month's past newsletters are archived and available online shortly after release. If you do not currently receive our eNewsletter, you can sign up online!
Mission: Lifeline® is now accepting Research Proposals. All Research Proposals will be held and reviewed for acceptance in July 2013. Research Proposals submitted after July 1, 2013 will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
