Little Heart Hero Day in Connecticut The American Heart Association is hosting an event for children with congenital heart defects and their families to come together for fun activities, support and networking. The second annual Little Heart Hero Day will take place Sunday, Sept. 7 from 12-3pm at the Elks in Branford. This FREE event is open to all Connecticut families who have a child with a congenital heart defect. The event will include heart healthy snacks, fun activities like face painting, crafts, games and more! Little Heart Hero Day and is rain or shine. Space is limited and RSVP is required by August 25th. Little Heart Hero Day is sponsored by the American Heart Association in partnership with the Gabrielle Dinsmore Heart & Hope Fund.
