Ingredients
-
1/3 cup fat-free cream cheese, softened -
1/2 cup fat-free sour cream -
1 tablespoon honey -
1 tablespoon cider vinegar -
2 teaspoons ground mustard -
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional) -
1 pint grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes -
2 cups baby carrots
Directions
-
In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese and sour cream. -
Stir in the honey, vinegar, mustard, and red pepper flakes until smooth. -
Serve with the tomatoes and carrots.
Cooking Tip: To quickly soften cream cheese, place the cream cheese on a microwaveable dish. Microwave, covered, on 100% power (high) for 15 to 20 seconds, or until softened.
Keep it Healthy: Did you know you can make your own mustard? In a small bowl, stir together ¼ cup ground mustard with ¼ cup cold water. Let stand for 10 minutes. This homemade version contains much less sodium than the store-bought varieties.
Tip: Try cucumber slices and bite-size broccoli or cauliflower florets for dipping, too.
