National Coalition of 100 Black Men,
African American Organization
Health & Wellness is one of the pillars of 100 Black Men of America. Our goal is to empower the people in our communities to take control of their health by:
- Monitoring their own vital signs, such as blood pressure, glucose, and blood oxygen saturation.
- Embracing a culture of fitness. The 100 regularly conducts fitness challenges where our members and the young people we mentor are encouraged to run or walk at least 100-miles over the course of a month.
- Managing stress through breathing, meditation, Tai chi and/or Yoga.
The following playlist contains music that inspires our runners and walkers and sets the mood for mindfulness exercises. Enjoy. @100blackmen
