Heart Ball Ambassadors
Heart Ball Ambassadors are high school sophomores who participate in educational and social programs and activities. The program highlights the American Heart Association through leadership, volunteering, advocacy, learning about heart-healthy lifestyles, and discovering how they can make an impact on heart disease and stroke – all in a fun environment. Becoming an Ambassador is an excellent resume building tool. Each ambassador can attain community service hours, learn valuable leadership development skills and network with peers.
The highlight of the program is the presentation of the Ambassadors at the Wichita Heart Ball. The Heart Ball is an elegant gala and one of the most important fundraisers for the American Heart Association. The funds raised help support research, education, and community service.
