Help Save Lives with CPR

Location: virtual opportunity

Date: ongoing

Each year, more than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in the United States. About 90 percent of people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests die. CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance. In as little as two minutes, volunteers can learn updated techniques for administering Hands-Only CPR to help save a life. Use this toolkit for all the tools you need to host a Hands-Only CPR volunteer activity to help more people learn the two simple steps to save a life from cardiac arrest.

Participate in Lifesaving Research

Location: virtual opportunity

Date: ongoing

Heart disease takes the life of 1 in 3 women. Participating in research could help change that. Historically, clinical studies have not adequately included women or analyzed women-specific heart health data, yet that is the best way to improve care and prevent heart disease altogether. You can help unlock the power of science to find new ways to treat, beat and prevent heart disease in women through Research Goes Red. Choose to contribute through clinical research, surveys, focus groups and more to help improve health for all.
